Let me Be Me

In my research and theory class I'm researching the effect homosexual parents have on their children. I found out that poetry on this specific topic helps make families dealing with situation less complex and way more understandble and at a ease.

In Her Heart (Not an anti-hate guys poem)

Becuase I see beauty in the closest thing of my nature

some see it confusing but im so sure I need to face her.

If you love me, the real me, then you should be happy,

She creates my smiles, that I show off so glady.

So many say it's opposites that attract,

but I never had a guy that had my back.

Day in day out, all guys do is critcize,

That's when I realized, what's suppose to be

for me really isn't. So in love with God, but

still sinning, people praying for me to lose,

but her heart keeps me winning. And when it's

all over, or like they say said and done,

Ill be happy no matter, because Im so happy from

where I just came from.
